RaymondGRIFFITHSFormerly of S & E Griffiths After a long illness, Ray aged 83 years of Merthyr Road, Pontypridd passed away peacefully at Dewi Sant Hospital on Monday 30th June 2008. Ray was the devoted husband of the late Phyllis, the much loved dad of Philip, Angela, Catherine, Sharon, Helen and the late Barrie and Carole. Adored Big Dad and Daddo to all his eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Ray lived for his family. He was a well known and respected business man through his work with S & E Griffiths. All his family would like to express their thanks and appreciation for the support and comfort they received from relatives, friends and neighbours during this very sad time. The family have been overwhelmed with sympathy cards, letters, floral tributes (both at the house and at the funeral) and also the many donations received for Ty Hafan. The love and esteem for Ray and his family was expressed by the many mourners who filled both chapels at the crematorium. The family would especially like to thank Andrew Humphries of Castle Court for the personal and dignified way the funeral arrangements were conducted. Also thanks to Reverend Chris Burr for the comfort he gave us and the caring and sympathetic service at the house and at the crematorium.
